One Day according to IMDB: ”After spending the night together on the night of their college graduation Dexter and Em are shown each year on the same date to see where they are in their lives. They are sometimes together, sometimes not, on that day.”

So based on the movie trailers for One Day that have been released already it looks like Anne Hathaway has not only a different hairstyle for pretty much every scene but a totally different cut and look for several parts of the film. I bet that took a bunch of time and effort from the stylists and the film continuity team. Short, medium, or long.. which do you like best?

The Ballerina Bun, a classically feminine, no-nonsense topknot. Here’s the easy step by step how-to:

Brush hair into a high, tight ponytail and secure with a no-snag elastic band.
- Tip: A brush with natural and synthetic bristles will untangle while distributing your hair’s natural oils.
Spray the pony tail with flexible hairspray and tease with a hair brush to fluff it up.
Wrap the ponytail around itself and secure it with hairpins.
Spritz some hairspray all over and run the smooth (non-bristle) side of your brush over the front to smooth out any flyaways.

Maintaining Hair Color Tips

So you got a great new hair color done at the salon.. don’t you want to keep that color as bright and vibrant as the day it was done? Try these tips for better color maintenance.

To keep hair looking brilliant, go for a root touch-up every three to four weeks.
After a touch-up, don’t wash hair for three days to allow the cuticles to seal the color.
Random streaks should be allowed to grow out naturally because they will add depth and interest to your hair style.
Always use a hair mask between color touch-ups. Try switching your regular oil massage for a treatment mask at the salon.
Use a leave-in conditioner with UV filters for any red or rust colors.
Heat protecting serums or milks are great to use before blow-drying.
Leave-in and styling products with built-in protection are great for people who swim regularly or abuse their hair with lots of styling.
Shine is super important for a healthy fresh look. Grab a good quality leave-in shine serum for healthy lustrous hair.

In the new movie “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” the sequel to the 1987 movie “Wall Street” Carey Mulligan plays Winnie Gekko estranged daughter of Gordon Gekko (played by Michael Douglas).

Throughout the film Carey has a great short and straight or messy hairstyle that is super cute and (although slightly longer) really similar to the style Emma Watson had at the opening of the latest Harry Potter movie. Though Carey has had several shorter and similar cuts this style stands out specifically because of how short it is and the deep red-ish brunette color it is… instead of her other brunette or blond looks.
