One Day according to IMDB: ”After spending the night together on the night of their college graduation Dexter and Em are shown each year on the same date to see where they are in their lives. They are sometimes together, sometimes not, on that day.”

So based on the movie trailers for One Day that have been released already it looks like Anne Hathaway has not only a different hairstyle for pretty much every scene but a totally different cut and look for several parts of the film. I bet that took a bunch of time and effort from the stylists and the film continuity team. Short, medium, or long.. which do you like best?

The movie poster for One Day is another great example of the many different hairstyles Anne wears throughout the movie. .. and I think it’s one of the nicest looks for her in the film.

In the new movie “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” the sequel to the 1987 movie “Wall Street” Carey Mulligan plays Winnie Gekko estranged daughter of Gordon Gekko (played by Michael Douglas).

Throughout the film Carey has a great short and straight or messy hairstyle that is super cute and (although slightly longer) really similar to the style Emma Watson had at the opening of the latest Harry Potter movie. Though Carey has had several shorter and similar cuts this style stands out specifically because of how short it is and the deep red-ish brunette color it is… instead of her other brunette or blond looks.

Ultra Violet Movie Hairstyle – Milla Jovovich

Milla Jovovich in Ultraviolet again has amazingly colored hairstyles. Like in The Fifth Element with her orange hair this new purple style looks great… though I prefer the shorter more messy look in the other movie.

The color changing effects in Ultraviolet are also super cool. I like the screenshot below where she has almost all black hair with an amazing color of purple/blue on the tips. Check out the movie for other interesting hairstyles on the other characters like really long dreads or other chicks with purple hair.

Hackers the movie Hairstyles – 90′s Punk. 1995 Angelina looking hot in a super short punk style cut. Her bangs are cut at varying length to flow with her eyes and eyebrows and the sideburns are left long enough to hang down to her jaw line.

The Fifth Element Hairstyles & Color – Milla Jovovich – Chris Tucker and More.

Ok, is it’s been forever since The Fifth Element came out in 1997(gasp), but it’s still a great movie! And of course it’s got so many great hairstyles, gotta give a hand to the costume/makeup/hairstylists for the movie for doing a fabulous job! Just as an example look at the scene where the Diva (Maiwenn Le Besco) sings the techno-opera and really look around at the audience in the background, there’s more awesome hairstyles just in that scene than in most entire movies.

Obviously the hairstyle that everyone remembers from The Fifth Element is Leeloo’s (Milla Jovovich) hair. The awesome bright orange with blond roots color… the orange and white color scheme that runs throughout the movie makes me think someone was a UT or Syracuse fan. lol. Back to the hair… it seems like for most of the movie that it had an almost dreaded look like is was twisted in clumps with some wax. I like it, gave it more of a hardcore look than just leaving it natural. The short bangs gave her a more cute feel. Put it all together, and I think it pulled off her look and feel for the character of Leeloo quite nicely.

Chris Tucker‘s character Ruby Rhod is an awesome flamboyant talk show radio host and his hair and clothing are just as loud as he is. Chris plays the character very well… cant go wrong with a one piece, fuzzy, leopard print jump suit! hahah.

I have to mention the blue Diva (Plavalaguna – character name).. even though she doesn’t really have hair, I think it’s close enough to an alien ‘hairstyle’ to fit in this post.

…and if not for the costume style then she should be noted for her amazing performance in the movie. The actual singing was done by Albanian soprano Inva Mula-Tchako… simply awesome.

The Fifth Element Diva (Maiwenn Le Besco)

If you’re into tattoos this is a real cool look… the shaved head also seems to me a theme throughout the movie, especially for women.

Olivia Wilde Tron Hairstyle Black Bob Cut – Quorra is Super Hot

In the upcoming movie Tron: Legacy Olivia Wilde plays the character Quorra, pretty much the ultimate nerd fantasy. It took me a minute to recognize her with the cute short bob-cut with bangs hairstyle she sports in the movie. From the second photo down it seems like her hair is cut with a bit of a taper down to the right.. like her bangs get longer towards the right side of her face. Maybe it’s just that photo but to me it looks a bit off, like they half-assed a popular bob cut style like Charlize Theron in Aeon Flux but it’s not as intense.. more cute with the bangs and mostly even look. Even so, Olivia pulls it off nicely.

This couch seems really ornate for the general styling of the movie set where everything is super modern and digital looking. Makes me think vampire movie.. like in the Vampire “nest” in Underworld. Come to think of it, are all women going to wear black, skin tight, leather or spandex and have black hair in any good scifi/thriller movie from now on? seems like a thing. Ex; Kate Beckinsale as Selene in underworld, Charlize Theron in Aeon Flux, Anna Paquin in x-men, Famke Janssen as Jean Gray in x-men(before her hair goes red for being Pheonix), Halle Berry in Catwoman.. and many others.

I’m not really sure how I feel about Edwards hair in this photo.. yea, a messy look is cool but it’s kinda over done like you tried to hard to make it look like you didn’t try.. if that makes any sense let me know.

Bella, on the other hand has a simple straight/slightly wavy look that looks effortless and luxurious… even though they probably spent like 3 hours setting every strand of hair right where they wanted it for this picture. lol.

Wow, what a great style! Cute and fun but bold racy and exciting. Long enough to have an up-do or a wavy look sometimes so you don’t get bored with the same look. Looks great in black, but also looks just as amazing in blonde or red! Anyhow, this style worked great for the movie Aeon Flux, especially with all the black leather and other fun clothing.
